 | Buri Hamachi(ブリ(ﾟ∀ﾟ)ハマチ) is a Nico Nico Douga Fad. The original video features Saki from Ar tonelico III. The cats in the background might refer to the fact that you hear a loud "meow" about 12 seconds in the song, the fish are obviously references to the lyrics of the song(both Buri(ブリ) and Hamachi(ハマチ) mean Japanese Amberjack/Yellowtail). After the original video was uploaded on the 12th of Febuary, 2010, it quickly recieved loads of fad responses with well-known characters from well-known games and animes such as Star Fox and Final Fantasy. The song is a soundbite from the game "Ar tonelico III: Sekai Shūen no Hikigane wa Shōjo no Uta ga Hajiku"(アルトネリコ3 世界終焉の引鉄は少女の詩が弾く, Ar tonelico III: The Girl's Song that Pulls the Trigger of World's Demise) by Namco Bandai. The song playing is a loop of the first bit of a piece of music from the game, called Exec Hymm Battlesphere Saki Extracting. It is the piece of music that is played at the end of battle when playing as Saki.
